NYS requires completion of the following workshops in order to obtain teacher certification:
- Child Abuse Identification and Reporting
- School Violence Prevention and Intervention
- Dignity for All Students Act (DASA)
- Training in the Needs of Children with Autism (applicable to candidates in certain subject areas)
