To begin working on your NYC Online Teacher Application for NYC Public Schools (NYCPS), you will need to register an account on the Teacher Support Network (TSN), the NYCPS online system for managing applications. You can access the NYC Online Teacher Application by visiting this website: https://nyc.teacherssupportnetwork.com/Home.do?CareerPath=TEA.
When visiting the NYC Online Teacher Application for the first time, you will need to go to the “New User” section and create an account using your email address, a password, and a valid social security number. The login page of the NYC Online Teacher Application looks like this:
When you click on the green "Create Account" button you will be taken to this screen:
Once you have registered, you will be taken to this screen "Create Common Profile - Step 1" to create your Common Profile. The Common Profile has five parts that will each need to be completed in their entirety.
Once you complete each section, you will need to save and continue to go to the next page. If you want to continue working on your common profile at another time, you can save and exit at the bottom of the right-hand side. Make sure to save and exit each page.
Once you have completed your profile, you will see the following screen. You can then click “Proceed to Teacher Application” to begin your NYC Online Teacher Application.
